Golden Claypot Restaurant at Tmn Chai Leng

It's just beside Teow Chew Meng of Taman Chai Leng (Jalan Kurau, Butterworth)
Food there are worth to try....
Price quite reasonable....
Environment is ok....

We tried the black been spare ribs (good!), cantonese porridge (I love it) and broccoli vege dish (ok)....

Koay Teow Soup

Last week we went to tried a Koay Teow Soup in Bukit Mertajam town....the name of the shop where the koay teow soup is Kedai Makanan dan Minuman Wong kok.....it's just beside the Hong Leong Bank...The shop sells koay teow soup, roasted duck rice, mix (economy) rice, fried oyster and chu-char (stir-fry)......

How come we come about to try???
Previously when we went to the Hong Leong bank, saw the uncle busy making the koay teow soup non-stop with many ppl surrounding him, waiting for their orders....seeing this 'heat' and as a food lover, would probably have the urge to try out....

After the tasting, we found it not as good as what we expect or see... :-(....the noodle was thick and tasteless....the fish balls in it doesn't taste fresh.....
Besides that, we also tried the roasted duck, char siew and roasted pork....also taste not so nice especially the char siew.....very hard :-(

Anyway, I still prefer the Koay Teow Soup in Sg Nibong and Mount Erskine..... :-)
