Ingredients
400g lean port
15g dried white cabbage
1 no "Luo Han Guo" (splited)
1 no red apple (peel, wedges)
20g dried "longan"
10g Chinese almond flakes
2000ml water
Seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
Method
1. Soak the dried white cabbages into water for about 30 minutes until soften. Remove, rinse and cut into sectionals, squeeze its moisture. Keep aside.
2. Rinse the lean pork and blanch into boiling water. Remove and drain well.
3. Pour water into a deep pot, bring to a boil. Add in lean pork, dried white cabbages and the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover, cook over a low heat for 2 -3 hr. Lastly, add in seasoning and serve hot.

Green Beans with Dried Octopus and Lotus Soup
Ingredients
300g Chinese lotus root (peeled)
80g dried octopus (rinsed, cut into pieces)
100g green beans
1 piece (5g) dried tangerine peel
10g fresh ginger (flatten)
600g spare ribs
3000ml water
Seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
Method
1. Rinse the spare ribs and blanch into boiling water. Remove, rinse under cool water, drain well. Keep aside.
2. Rinse green beans, soak in water for 30 mins. Remove and drained.
3. Pour water into deep pot and bring to a boil. Add in spare ribs, dried octopus pieces, lotus root, green beans, fresh ginger and dried tangerine peel. Cook for 15 mins. Cover, reduce to a low heat and cook for approximately 2 hrs.
4. Blend in seasoning, mix well and serve.
