Yesterday my hubby and I went to try out this thai restaurant in Bukit Mertajam Penang. Sorry I didn't manage to get the name but it's a small thai shed-like restaurant along Jalan Berjaya Kampung Baru of Bukit Mertajam. The restaurant is about 100 metres from D Kuang Seafood Restaurant. This thai restaurant is just beside the SJK(T) Bukit Mertajam and opposite the SMK Bukit Mertajam. It served good and reasonable thai food. The owner is from Thai. The crowd starts around 6.30pm on a Sunday. We arrived by 6pm and there were already 3 tables of people and one of the tables already finishing their meals but we still need to wait for about 20 minutes for our food but it's worth to wait as the food was good! They served tomyam soup, steam fish, thai pork knuckles, and etc. We ordered the mix seafood tomyam soup, otak-otak and a plate of vegetable which cost us RM34.40 (with two plates of white rice)
Mixed seafood tomyam soup RM15.00 - love it!
Stir-fry vegetable (with some chinese mushroom and prawns) RM6.00 - nice :-)
