Beef Koay Teow Soup and Laksa in BM

It's at Jalan Kulim of Bukit Mertajam, opposite the row of shophouses which has OnCost car accessories shop. I find that it's quite nice. It range from RM5 - RM8.

There also got a laksa stall which also sells ais-kacang. It's the branch of a famous laksa stall of Kulim. I like it's prawn crackers that you can add to the laksa. The prawn cracker is 20cent per piece while the laksa is RM2.40 per bowl.

I Will Be Here

I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman

Tomorrow morning if you wake up
and the sun does not appear
I will be here
If in the dark, we lose sight of love
Hold my hand, and have no fear
'Cause I will be here
I will be here
When you feel like being quiet
When you need to speak your mind
I will listen
And I will be here
When the laughter turns to cryin'
Through the winning, losing and trying
We'll be together
I will be here
Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the future is unclear
I will be here
Just as sure as seasons were made for change
Our lifetimes were made for these years
So I will be here
I will be here
And you can cry on my shoulder
When the mirror tells us we're older
I will hold you
And I will be here
To watch you grow in beauty
And tell you all the things you are to me
I will be here
I will be true to the promise I have made
To you and to the One who gave you to me
Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the sun does not appear
I will be here
Oh, I will be here.

My Birthday

I still remember my last year birthday. That day we moved to our new house. From dawn till dusk, we were busy moving all our things to the new house and when we finally settled down at the end of the day to take some breath, it was about 9 at night. Then we quickly washed up and head to the nearest western restaurant ~Golden Goldini at Auto-City. We were the their last customer of the day. We had a scrumptious dinner that night but sadly Golden Goldini closed down few months later. This year I'm happy as we went to Swensens for lunch and Kampachi for dinner. It must have cost him something but I guess as long as I'm happy, everything is worth it. :D. Furthermore, I'm also happy that Swensens finally came back to town. My choice of ice-cream! Besides that, he got me a pair of RayBan sunglasses for my birthday.... :-) Ever since I'm with him, I don't need to buy my own birthday gift. :-)

Note - Price in Kampachi has increased.... :(

Rice and Spice

~Remembering that work ended at 5.30pm....~

Venue: Green Hall Georgetown (after Convent Light Street)

We went to Rice and Spice last Sunday...kind of a fine dining restaurant. Missed the live music performance but you can catch it on every Thurs, Fri and Sat. They serve North and South India food. They use quite a lot of herbs in cooking. The food was simply splendid and not much MSG as not at thirst after that....haha. The environment was quite nice. Customer service provided was good. The Indian captain will recommend their specialties and he will also tell you that it should be enough for you and your guests. Food portioned was rather small on first sight but it's generally enough in the end. Last but not least, the PRICE.......hmmm...it's a little more pricey comparable.

eg.
Mutton ~ RM18
Vege ~ RM10
Naan ~ RM4
Chicken ~ RM12

My Ah Ma

Since young I realised that my grandma was the matriarch of the family. She was quite stubborn and I think that made her a very determined person. She always held the family closely and made sure everyone stays and plays his/her role. She was stern and strict but somehow from the hard-side, emerged a lady with loving and caring heart. I've 3 younger sisters. All of us were taken care by our beloved-grandma since child-birth. Before entering university, almost everyday she would yell at me for not attending to her calls immediately even when I'm doing my school homework or playing piano. We were not allowed to attend friends' gathering or parties. There was one time I went out with one of my cousins to a nearby playground. While happily on the swing, she came with a cane on her hand and pull me home. I felt embarrased as seen by a lot of the neighbours. I really hated her that time. Felt like running away from home. At that time, gangsterism still roamed at where we stayed and many young people were influenced. When I grew older, I understand that what she had done for us was merely for the sake of us. She wanted us to be disciplined and excelled in the future. She was also a father and mother to us. I thank God that I was put to her and not somebody else. Without her, I may not be who I am today. THANK YOU, GRANDMA & You will always be in my heart. I Love U.

Power of Love

It has been 7 years since we are together but the bond between us still as strong as before even though there are ups and down throughout the years. People always ask me how come I'm not afraid of 七年之痒. 'Believe or not' is the answer. I choose not to believe as to me this 4 characters are just mouth of words. I always believe and trust in him. I know my choice is correct ever since I lay my eyes on him. I knew he's the man of my life. He always love, care, trust and respect me. There was times when we face some turbulences from my family. He never give up on our love. He always give me the courage to go on. I never had my family blessing until recent years. My father believed that we were not meant for each other. Superstitious always overwhelmed him. He said our age difference is 6 years which is a bad match. He tried to separate us but somehow we are inseparable. With our love up until today, I've proof this superstitous wrong. The power of love is remarkable.

~Wish all ppl in the world will find their true love and happy forever~
